I have nothing but love for this dryer! I have very frizzy hair and this dries it nice and smooth in no time at all. I read the reviews before I purchased it and most of the complaints were lack of English instructions and the weight. Well, let me tell you that there ARE english instructions and the bottons are not that difficult to figure out without one anyway. The weight never bothered me and since Im not holding it that long its never been an issue.

We had our last Elchim Hair Blower for about 20 years. This one seems fine so far. The Uraganos ionic ability is new, and seems to dry my long hair more quickly than our older, traditional one.

This is the ultimate hair dryer. It is built like a tank - heavy, but well balanced and easy to use. It comes with an optional air intake that increases air flow which was already higher than any other hair dryer I have ever tried but decreases the maximum temperature somewhat it is still hot enough - any hotter would melt your hair. There are 3 air flow settings and 3 heat settings one of which is no heat. I have no way of telling if the ionic mechanism works or shortens drying time as there is no way to shut it off. This hair dryer drys much faster than any other I have tried, but I can say if it is the very high air flow, high maximum heat setting, the ionic stuff, or the combination of all three. Whatever the mechanism, this dryer is fast and built to last.

This hair dryer is fantastic! It is easy to handle. It gets really hot and can definitely straighten that hard to straighten hair. You will feel like you just bought your hairdressers hair dryer.

My stylist has this dryer and I really liked it. She paid over twice what I paid, having purchased mine from DiscountJungle. Ive only had this dryer a few weeks but Im very happy with it. It dries my hair quickly even on the warm/low setting. Its much more quiet than other dryers Ive used as well.

The Uragano is really sturdy and powerful. The controls don have words to indicate what they mean so you have to figure it out on your own but its worth it.

Prior to my new very short haircut, for the past 7 years+, I have used a hair clip to get my hair into a twisted up-do. I never had to blow dry, style, etc... I always had horrible luck trying to recreate new styles like the professionals using a blow dryer and round brush. I found an amazing stylist about 6 months ago. I told him he could do whatever he wanted with my hair so long as he showed me how to recreate it myself. He gave me an amazing cut, showed me how to style it with a regular paddle brush and blow dryer. The blow dryer I had at home was probably 10 years old and didn have the end attachment the localizes the air. So, I purchased this after sneaking a peak at the brand name he was using. This dryer gets my hair dry fast, it is easy to work with and has well placed buttons. I have never accidentely hit one of the buttons to a different setting while drying my hair. I have always had this problem with dryers in the past and it is very frustrating. In summary, the combination of a great cut, a stylist willing to show me how to recreate, and this dryer have me as a reformed woman. I love my hair now!

It works quickly, its light, it has a few different nozzles that come with it, and its not super loud like my old dryer. Ive seen it priced much higher in salons. Great value!

I have been using Professional Hair Dryers forever, and I have to say this one is incredible. I have so much hair, even with other professional hair dryers it would take me more than an hour to get it dry. This one makes it so easy and fast! In less than half an hour I have dry hair that is not only soft but shiny! And best of all I have seen a big improvement in my hair, the drying technology avoids getting split ends. So I definitely recommend it!

I just received this hair dryer and have used it 2 or 3 times and I love it!! I had a T3 Tourmaline ionic hair dryer prior to this one and after several years, it broke. The T3 gets the best reviews, but this Elchim blows it away! The T3 made got extremely hot and really dried out my hair. When I use the Elchim, it makes my hair smooth and straight and silky. It does cut drying time down compared to non-ionic hair dryers as well. In fact, it cuts the drying time down a lot. The only draw back is that it is a bit heavier than the featherweight T3, however, it is still lighter than most good hair dryers. It is also less expensive than the T3. I wish I had bought this Elchim earlier. I highly recommend it.

What you have heard about the Elchim continuous ion system is not hype-its FOR REAL. I love my hair now. It dries so much faster, shinier, and silkier. I chose this blow dryer because its what my hair stylist uses and it gets nice and hot (unlike my previous W@lmart dryer). I have naturally curly hair and I eventually had to buy the Solano diffuser to go with it since the force of the air was tangling my hair too much. I wish the switches for the "on/off" and heat level settings were located somewhere else. I am constantly hitting them thus turning it off and changing the heat level while I try to blow dry my hair. Its annoying but oh well. Im happy with the blow dryer other than that.

This is such a great dryer. i have had 2 other Salono hair dryers and they are long lasting and extremely powerful. This new dryer is slightly smaller but just as strong as the bigger models. I have a large amount of hair and this dryer can get my hair dried quicker than any other dryer i have used.

Over seven years ago, I purchased my first Solano hair dryer, after my cheap Conair died from just a couple years of intermittent use. I wanted that salon blow dry every day, so I called up my stylist and asked what hair dryer he had. After navigating Italian websites I found my Solano and got it shipped here. Yes, it was an expensive hair dryer, but my (then) long, thick, curly hair needed power. Solano delivered and I loved that dryer to the bitter end: a drop. Granted, I had dropped this thing at least a hundred times before and it always worked afterwards, but it must have been its time to go. Once I took apart my faithful friend (they make it easy) and determined there was no salvaging the plastic shelf that held the motor steady, I knew my next hair dryer would also be a Solano, especially since minus that drop, that thing would have gone another five years no problem. I am happy that Solano dryers are more easily purchased in the US now, and after carefully debating the 3700moda vs. 3600ion I went with the 3700moda for its compactness and overall power, plus the reviews that hair was dried very quickly, something important to me. Amazon shipped it quickly and once my new hairdryer arrived, I was already pleased. The look of the dryer is very sexy, with black glitter paint, a red and silver filter cover, and a long 12 foot cord. The quickness was there, it does dry very fast, and it doesnt seem to dry out my hair or make it frizzy at all. I used it just the way I used my old blow dryer and I found that it was well balanced and handled a little better than my previous one. I found it comfortable to use and the performance was there. I tried out the three heat setting and was able to feel a big difference between each of the three, plus the cold shot button delivered cold air. The dryer came with two plastic concentrator nozzles, which I definitely was looking for, although I did have to order my diffuser separately, when last time it also came with the diffuser ( I believe it was the Solano Top Power in Eggplant). Bottom Line: It has a lot of power for such a compact little dryer, and I look forward to keeping this baby around for a really long time.

I bought this about a month ago. I did a LOT of research - contemplated buying a T3, then Elchim, Sedu (I used my roommates Sedu 4000i, and being that it was top rated on FoLica etc, I expected so much more. It was so dissappointing, didnt get hot at all, and took forever to dry and style my hair.) I finally settled on Solano - and then started the looong research process between comparing the 3700 vs 3600i vs the regular 235. This one I finally bought was a risky move, because I didnt find many reviews on it, but went with my gut. Im glad I did. The reason Im writing such a long review is because I would liked to find something like this about the product. First a little bit about my hair type: very thick, a million sections, quite curly on the top so I need to use a round brush and some real effort to blow dry it straight. this hair dryer makes it easier. I dont just use my dryer to DRY my hair, but also to STYLE it. Ive stopped using hair irons! Its quite light weight, doesnt hurt my arm holding it up for a long time at all. It has 2 heat settings- they say 3, but they just mean 0, 1 and 2. I usually always keep it on 2. My hair is just too thick for anything else. Its perfect. and 2 air settings - again medium and high. I use medium when Im just styling with a round brush, and use high, when Im actually drying my hair. I initially thought that the hot, wasnt quite hot enough, but it does get pretty hot, and dries your hair beautifully and quickly. I guess you dont need a hair dryer that just gets unnessearily hot and burns your hair to dry it properly if it does everything right. I think the ceramic, ionic, and heat settings are just the right balance to get you a good blow dried effect. So Ive let go of my notions that it has to be as hot as the sun. (dont get me wrong, this gets pretty hot, just not scorching as I was used to) Oh, and all this takes only 25 minutes. (remember I told you about my hair being super voluminous and having a million sections) It usually took me 45 minutes to an hour before with other cheaper hair dryers! It makes my hair look voluminous and styled and fresh and healthy. Sometimes I even just use it in between washes to make my hair look fresher. Ive received loads of compliments on the "sudden change" in my hair, and people keep asking if I just went to a hair salon. Fun!

This is a high quality blow dryer with strong wind and ionic heat power that I purchased to replace a dead SuperSolanoX1875. I ended up returning the 3700Moda for the 3500Lite because this 3700Moda seemed to be just a bit too much for my hair leaving it dry and frizzy. I have thin course fragile hair and the 3500 seems to be just a little gentler and leaves my hair smoother. The 3700Moda was highly recommended as a favorite at Solano so perhaps it works well for folks with thicker hair. I did love the shape, weight and compact design. I think I would have loved it if I had thicker hair.
